    1) Particle and Field Physics

    In this line it's made research on heavy-ion collisions, properties of the quark-gluon Plasma and their hydrodynamic treatment, quantum chromodynamics, chiral perturbation theory and nuclear forces, supersymmetry phenomenology, mass and mixtures of elementary particles generation mechanism, observational extragalactic astrophysics, star formation and nuclear activity, supersymmetry in classical mechanics, Grassman Algebra, and linked systems.


    2) Condensed Matter Physics

    In this line, researches are made on superconductivity, magnetism and electronic correlations in advanced materials. Processing and characterization of critical high-temperature superconducting systems. Material Physics: Processing, Structural (XRD) and Microstructural (SEM and TEM) Characterization. Statistical mechanics and simulation of complex systems. Mathematical physics and rigorous results in statistical mechanics. Application of techniques based on ion beam for analysis and study of materials, food and biological tissues. Dosimetry and characterization of biological effects produced by ionizing radiation in medical physics.


    3) Astrophysics

    In this line, researches are made on formation, evolution and physical characteristics of galaxies. Active Galactic Nucleus (AGN) and its physicochemical properties (astrochemistry). Network Theory to investigate distribution and environment of galaxies in the universe. High energies with emphasis on accretion flows (disk and astrophysical jets) in the vicinity of compact stars (white dwarfs, neutron stars and black holes).
